Spirit of Scotch - Saturday May 24th

The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst is thrilled to invite you to an exclusive Spirit of Scotch event on Saturday, May 24,2025! This promises to be an unforgettable evening of exquisite whiskies, food and exciting auctions, held at the Terry Fox Auditorium at Gravenhurst Centennial Centre. The event proceeds will go to support the Gravenhurst Health Hub initiative. A project to provide better fundamental health care to Gravenhurst and area.

The Spirit of Scotch is an evening filled with five of the finest Scotch whiskies paired with sumptuous food. Seasoned connoisseur or just interested in exploring the world of Scotch? This event is perfect for you and your friends. Savour the rich flavours of exclusive Scotches from five distinguished Scottish distilleries and participate in an auction of unique and hard to obtain whiskies. The Spirit of Scotch is a unique opportunity to savour and appreciate the complexity of this beloved spirit as guided by a Whisky Sommelier.

DETAILS:

Attire: Business (suit & tie / cocktail dress), Tartan and/or kilts are encouraged

Tables: Seating up to 8 people is available

Decadent Dining: Enjoy a sumptuous 3-course food pairing, followed by a delightful shortbread course.

Scotch Sampling: Savour the rich flavors of 5 exclusive scotches from distinguished Scottish distilleries.

Cash Bar: The evening will feature a cash bar with beer, wine, and additional scotch selections.

Live Auctions: After each of the first 3 courses, participate in thrilling live auctions for exceptional scotches and unique whiskies.

Wine: Available for those who don’t wish to participate in the Scotch tastings but still wish to attend

We are delighted to announce Rotarian Steve Rae, a Whisky Sommelier will guide the whiskies for the evening, and also conduct the live auctions. We recommend safe transportation home be pre-arranged! You will be asked your transportation arrangements prior to the start of the evening.
