We are so close, and our 2026 fundraising events are going to help us cross the finish line of health for all Gravenhurst.

The momentum behind the Gravenhurst Health Hub continues to build. With every new donation and every event ticket sold, we take another step toward bringing comprehensive health care to our community. Here's your update on everything happening right now.

The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst is pleased to announce another considerable donation from member John Cooper, and his wife Denise of $111,000 to the Gravenhurst Health Hub. This donation brings the total amount gifted by this generous couple to $221,000.

This donation was made possible by the transfer of a stock share investment that the couple says is an ideal way for donors to contribute, as there is no tax on an investment gain and the donor receives a tax credit for the donation.

John and Denise express their special appreciation to their family physician Dr Chris Richardson and specialist Dr Keith Moran “for keeping this old guy going!”

Thank you so much, John and Denise!

The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst working with the Cottage Country Family Health Team has now raised over $1.15 Million dollars for the Health Hub. A tender has been approved for Phase 1 with construction starting March 2. An additional $53,000 is needed to complete the Phase 2 goal which is expected to be achieved sometime this summer.

We have said it before, but it bears repeating: we are close. The gap between where we are and the fully realized Gravenhurst Health Hub project goal is real, but narrowing, and the incredible support we are seeing from local businesses, generous citizens, and this community is making all the difference. With our 2026 fundraising event schedule, we plan to close that gap for good.

Elexicon Energy Chooses Gravenhurst Health Hub

We are thrilled to share that Elexicon Energy has selected us as one of only six grant recipients for 2026. Chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, this recognition means we will benefit from Elexicon's annual fundraising golf tournament, an event they run each year specifically to give back to organizations making a difference in their communities. We are honoured and grateful to be among the chosen recipients.

Thank you, Elexicon Energy, for believing in this project.

Doris & Ivy in the Home, with a sweet surprise at intermission!

Mark your calendars for April 24. We are beyond excited about our upcoming performance of Doris & Ivy in the Home — and we have a very special intermission treat lined up for you.

The Bakery, a beloved Gravenhurst institution on Brock Street, will be bringing their incredible baked goods for you to enjoy between acts. Since 1959, The Bakery has been crafting fresh breads and baked treats using traditional recipes and quality ingredients — a true Gravenhurst landmark owned and operated by the Reblein family for three generations.

Seating is reserved and tickets are selling fast. If you have been thinking about it, now is the time. Do not miss out on an evening of wonderful theatre, community, and fresh-baked goodness, all in support of the Gravenhurst Health Hub.

Every ticket purchased, every donation received, every business that steps forward brings us one step closer to health care for all of Gravenhurst. Thank you for being part of this journey — we could not do it without you.
