Bracebridge Rotarian Bob Jacob donates $25,000 toward Health Hub project goal
Bob Jacob, member of the Bracebridge Rotary Club often joins the Gravenhurst Rotary regularly. Today, he had quite the pleasant surprise for those in attendance.
In a heartwarming display of generosity and community spirit, Rotarian Bob Jacob has propelled the Gravenhurst Health Hub project forward with a remarkable $25,000 donation—bringing Phase One of the project, that much closer to completion. A familiar and welcome face at The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst, Bob often joins from his home club in Bracebridge, always bringing with him a deep understanding of the shared needs across Muskoka. His commitment to the vision of helping with the health care crisis in Gravenhurst was on full display today, when he surprised attendees at the club’s lunch meeting with a moving presentation and a symbolic gesture of support.
The moment was made even more special as Bob handed over the donation to Bruce Hemphill, Chair of the Gravenhurst Health Hub, whose tireless leadership has been instrumental in rallying support for the initiative. Members of the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst recognized the significance of Bob’s contribution—not just in dollars, but in the momentum it brings to a cause rooted in compassion and collaboration.
