Two Rotarians hold an oversized cheque for $19,000

Pam McDivitt, member of the Gravenhurst Rotary, presents a cheque for $19,000 to Bruce Hemphill. In total the annual golf tournament raised $38,000, a new fundraising record for their 30th year.

Meet Pam McDivitt, a devoted Rotarian who has been a longstanding volunteer of the Muskoka Rotary Golf Classic. This June she proudly presented a cheque to Bruce Hemphill, Chair of the Gravenhurst Health Hub. The annual tournament, held at Bigwin Island Golf Club raised over $38,000, a record in its 30 years of operation. A partnership between the Rotary Clubs of Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, each club raised just over $19,000 for important community projects, Gravenhurst’s being the Health Hub.  Now that’s a real hole in one!
