During the latest Gravenhurst town council meeting, Bruce Hemphill, chair of the Gravenhurst Health Hub, shared updates about the project, including details on upcoming fundraising efforts.

The initiative aims to transform the available second floor space—approximately 12,000 square feet—of the medical center adjacent to the Gravenhurst municipal office. Hemphill emphasized that the new hub will serve multiple purposes once it is operational, including providing turnkey office space for new primary care providers, enhancing access to specialists, and facilitating new programs focused on geriatrics, diabetes education, and women’s health.
