On August 21st the District of Muskoka approved a $200,000 capital grant in support of our project. This grant comes from the Regional Health Services Reserve Fund that the District established to support capital projects from community organizations across the District.

District committee gives thumbs up to south Muskoka health hub funding.
The family heath team’s request was for $200,000 to develop the Gravenhurst Health Hub that is projected to support more than 6,000 unattached patients in the community. The reserve, which was created in 2024, has a mandate to support health service organizations that serve Muskoka residents by offsetting the cost of eligible capital projects.
